Using leftover rice for a face mask is a popular DIY "Glass Skin" hack. Since you already have the rice cooked, you're halfway there. Rice contains inositol and ferulic acid, which help brighten skin and improve elasticity.

Here is a simple way to turn those leftovers into a spa treatment.

🍚 The DIY "Glass Skin" Rice Mask

Prep time: 5 minutes | Shelf life: 1 week (refrigerated)

Ingredients:

* 1 cup Leftover cooked rice (plain white or jasmine works best)

* 5-6 tbsp Milk or Oat milk (for hydration/lactic acid) Add more if needed.

* 1 tbsp Honey (natural humectant and antibacterial)

* Optional: A few drops of your favorite face serum (like Vitamin C or Hyaluronic Acid)

Instructions:

* Warm it up: If the rice is cold from the fridge, microwave it for 10 seconds just to soften the grains (don't make it hot).

* Blend: Place the rice, milk, and honey in a blender or food processor. Blend until it becomes a thick, creamy paste. It should look like a heavy moisturizer.

* Apply: On a clean, dry face, spread a thick layer of the paste. Avoid the immediate eye area.

* Relax: Let it sit for 10–15 minutes. It will start to feel a bit tight as it dries.

* Rinse: Use lukewarm water to gently massage the mask off. The rice grains provide a very light, natural exfoliation.
