Comparison canon v10 and sony zv1 ii
Hello pixies, here are some good and bad of both? Well, do they have any bad? Let’s check out shall we?
Both are actually out in the same month and year which is May, 2023 with just few days apart. But yeah they started being available here in June and July of the said year. Well, as you all know I actually got the V10 first in 2023, while the ZV 1 ii was just recently.
+ both have an app for easy transfer between devices
+ both are great for vlogging
+ both are compact and not as heavy
+ both are touch screens
+ both has a wind shield for the mic
+ both are easy to use
BUT
+ v10 can’t zoom and only has wide angle while zv1 ii can
+ zv1 ii has a 360 rotation screen while v10 only has a fixed one
+ v10 has a built in stand while zv1 ii needs an extra tripod
+ zv1 ii has a better secure for the wind shield while v10 only has magnetic ones (I almost lost it once but found it on the floor while on holiday at Bukit Tinggi lol)
+ v10 needs an extra lense cap (but I think this one was because it has only a fixed lense yeah but the cap isn’t attach to any that I might misplaced it, too haha), zv1 ii doesn’t since it’s automatically closed off
+ zv1 ii drains battery quicker I feel compare to v10
So, which one do you love pixies? Well, for me they are both lovely but if in terms of zooming, zv1 ii wins then but truly love both! Now, I can have more angles of the videos at the same time hehe.

Sepanjang penggunaan saya, saya dapati kedua-dua Sony ZV-1 II dan Canon Powershot V10 memang sesuai sangat untuk content creator yang aktif di media sosial. Sony ZV-1 II memang unggul dari segi kemampuan zoom dan fleksibiliti skrin dengan putaran 360 darjah, yang sangat membantu kalau korang suka tangkap video dari pelbagai sudut. Macam saya, skrin ni memudahkan preview video dan buat vlogging lebih interaktif. Tapi kena ingat, bateri ZV-1 II ni cepat habis sikit, jadi biasanya saya standby power bank atau bateri tambahan buat kerja panjang. Canon Powershot V10 pula, walaupun tidak ada zoom dan skrin hanya fixed, tapi saya suka sebab built-in stand dia. Sangat praktikal kalau tak nak bawa tripod besar. Mic micnya pun ada penangkal angin yang guna magnet, walaupun risiko hilang tinggi, tapi senang nak pasang dan lepas guna. Selain itu, V10 lebih tahan lama baterinya, sesuai untuk sesi rakaman yang tak terlalu lama. Oh ya, ikut gambar yang saya ambil, lensa Sony adalah Vario-Sonnar T* manakala Canon guna fixed lens 6.6mm F2.8. Near angle lebih luas untuk Canon tapi zoom limit. Saya juga cuba snap gambar dari jarak sama dengan kedua-dua kamera, memang jelas beza dari sisi zoom dan detail. Kalau korang tengah cari kamera vlogging yang praktikal dan budget tak terlalu tinggi, Canon V10 memang patut dipertimbangkan. Tapi kalau nak fungsi lebih advance dan fleksibiliti sudut video, Sony ZV-1 II tetap nombor satu saya. Akhir sekali, semua pilihan bergantung pada keperluan dan gaya rakaman masing-masing. I ade both, i think canon do have better color, i live how its buildable with tripod, but i prefer sony ZV1 😂
