My portfolio crossed the $600k mark!

Hi dear readers,

It’s been 4 weeks since we came back from our sabbatical and I am back into the full swing of work. The break was very helpful in helping me refresh, recharge and I would highly suggest everyone give it a try at least once..

In other matters, as of yesterday market close, my portfolio has cleared the $600k mark and it’s hovering at all time highs. I honestly wasn’t expecting it as September is traditionally a weaker month but it seems like the more people expect it to be weak and stay clear, the markets continue to climb higher. As shown in photo 2, I am outperforming the Nasdaq by 52.4% which I am quite pleased about. I am trying to see if I can end the year at around 90-100%, wish me luck!

I did not buy or sell anything since the last post and just hodl to my existing holdings. Photos 3 and 4 will show my existing holdings along with their quantity and average prices. It seems like most unfortunately that my read on Lululemon was inaccurate hence I decide not to put more money in and leave it there but it’s reaching levels that I will be interested to buy and rescue the position. Other than that, notable performers from the last post would be Alibaba, Google, sea and Sofi..pltr has also seems like it has consolidated finish and ready to start a new wave upwards..my personal views are that the markets will still continue to go up for the rest of the year..do note there is a fed decision next week, whether they cut 25bps or 50bps is anyone guess haha

As usual, wishing everyone the best and stay safe in the markets..the above is not financial advice, just an avenue for me to share, reflect and stay accountable to myself. Till the next time!

... Read moreInvesting consistently and patiently can lead to impressive portfolio growth, as I’ve experienced firsthand. During this period, I chose not to react impulsively to market fluctuations but to hold my positions, which proved rewarding when the market climbed higher despite typical seasonal weaknesses in September. It’s important to analyze individual holdings carefully — for example, my cautious approach with Lululemon allowed me to wait for more attractive entry points without risking adding to a losing position prematurely. Meanwhile, stocks like Palantir and Sea have shown promising consolidation patterns, indicating potential upward momentum that I plan to capitalize on. Tracking portfolio performance regularly through tools showing P&L, rate of return, and market trends helps maintain accountability and informed decision-making. Sharing these insights has also made me more mindful and disciplined in my investment strategy. Lastly, remember that while sharing my portfolio progress is motivating, this is not financial advice. Every investor should tailor their strategy to their goals, risk tolerance, and market conditions. With upcoming key events like the Fed decision, staying informed and flexible remains key to navigating the markets successfully. Wishing all fellow investors steady growth and success on your journeys!

I make my money work for me ~$20k SGD
It’s important not to keep too much money sitting in the bank. Inflation is brutal. On average, it eats away about 2–3% of your money every year. If you had $100,000 sitting in your bank account, you’d effectively be losing around $2,000 to $3,000 in purchasing power each year. I personally u

What My "Passive" Income Looks Like
I just finished auditing my side income for 2025. Total: $33,375.71. But if you look at the monthly data, it’s a roller coaster and that kind of kills the "passive income" dream you see on TikTok all the time. The past year cemented the idea that there is no such thing as 100% pas
