Matcha Run #5

Headed into JB for the weekends in July and chanced upon this matcha place in Sutera Mall!

📍Furiku Matcha @ Sutera

It’s not the creamy kind but it still tastes quite alright!

I was glad to have a matcha fix after a long hiatus of not having matcha!

Well, hearsay that matcha will affect iron deficiency but I guess what matters is that you drink it moderately :)

Would I go again? For the price point and consistency, why not? I might try their Hojicha Latte next time ☺️

From my experience, the pricing is reasonable for the quality and consistency you get. I’ve heard some concerns about matcha affecting iron absorption, but drinking it in moderation seems fine for me. I appreciate that Furiku also offers other tea varieties like Hojicha Latte, which I plan to try next visit. The shop’s atmosphere in Sutera Mall is cozy, making it a nice spot for a relaxing weekend treat. Plus, many appreciate that Furiku is halal, accommodating diverse dietary preferences. If you’re in JB and want a casual matcha experience without the heaviness, Furiku at Sutera Mall is definitely worth checking out! Remember, matcha pastel is another item on their menu that’s caught attention – a perfect complement to their drinks if you have a sweet tooth. Overall, this place strikes a good balance between quality, taste, and price, making it a spot worth revisiting.
