Weekend Recap | Motherhood Edition
This momma's first born is growing up so fast! My baby went bowling and went to the movies for the first time this weekend .
it was also my first time taking the kids to a birthday party outside of the family by myself. I was terrified but knew this was a fear I have to conquer because it's wearing on me mentally. I'm usually stuck inside the house when my husband is away for work because my anxiety keeps me from going out. I worry about all possible bad scenarios that could happen if I take my babies out in public by myself. I feel like other moms have these same worries so I'm going to continue to document myself getting over this fear.
How are you mommas dealing with going out in public with your children?

This weekend was filled with emotional milestones as I took my kids out for activities that many parents take for granted. Going bowling and attending a birthday party for the first time with my children felt like a significant step in overcoming my anxiety. Many moms resonate with these feelings of apprehension when navigating the world alone with kids. It can be daunting to think about all the things that could go wrong, but facing these fears is essential for our well-being, as well as that of our children. Engaging in social activities helps build confidence and nurture our children's social skills. Reflecting on smaller moments, like a child’s laughter at bowling or their curiosity at a birthday party, reminds us of the beautiful experiences that await outside. If you’re a mom grappling with similar fears, know that you’re not alone, and it's okay to take baby steps. Try to reach out, find local mom groups, or even seek support online to share experiences. Together, we can encourage each other to step out and create lasting memories with our children. Remember, it’s about the small moments that define our journey as mothers.
