Should we be worried?? 🫣

You guys, I still can't get over this! When I first stepped into our Airbnb, I felt this strange sense of déjà vu. Then it hit me – this isn't just any house, it's the Tanglewood Drive from Phasmophobia! It wasn't just a slight resemblance; it was eerily, perfectly identical. My friends and I were freaking out from the moment we realized it. Let's talk about the details, because this is where it gets wild. As soon as you walk past the front door, there’s that familiar hallway with the little console table. I swear I half-expected to find a Ouija board on it! The layout of the first bedroom and the second bedroom down that hall are spot on. We walked into the master bedroom, and I literally gasped. The way the bed is positioned, the windows, and even the entrance to the bathroom inside? It's all there, just like in the game. You could almost feel the chill of a ghost event coming on, especially imagining the master bedroom's notorious ghost spawning spots! Then we moved to the social areas. The kitchen layout, with its counters and appliances, is an exact match. We joked about preparing evidence instead of dinner! And yes, it seamlessly connects to the garage and even the laundry room, giving it that perfect flow that Phasmophobia players know so well when trying to escape or set up equipment. We kept looking for the light switches in the wrong places, thinking of the game's map layout! It makes you wonder, right? Did the game developers take inspiration from a real house, or is this just an incredible coincidence? Staying here, knowing its virtual counterpart is a haunted location, adds such a unique, thrilling layer to the experience. Every creak of the floorboards or shadow playing on the wall felt amplified. We even tried playing Phasmophobia while staying in the house – talk about an immersive experience! It gave us a whole new appreciation for the game's attention to detail. For any fellow Phasmophobia enthusiasts out there, if you ever get the chance to find an Airbnb that mirrors one of the game's maps, I highly recommend it. It really blurs the line between game and reality. We were half-expecting to find a ghost writing in a book or an EMF reader going off. We even joked about looking for potential cursed items hidden around the house, just for the thrill of it. It’s definitely a story I’ll be telling for a long time. Should we be worried? Maybe a little bit, but mostly, it was awesome!

Missing the basement before the kitchen though I think I might be thinking of a different house
