I’m in my healing era✨
Not many people know that I struggle with manic depression and anxiety. I don’t take medication because it left me feeling numb, without any emotions at all. Today, I’m choosing a different path. I’m starting my 52-week healing journey with God, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m beyond grateful for everything He’s given me—a supportive husband and three beautiful babies. This has been a long time coming, but I truly believe that strengthening my relationship with Him will heal the feelings of worthlessness and the darker thoughts I’ve been carrying.
I’m not sharing this for reactions or sympathy, but as a reminder to myself that in 52 weeks, I will be closer to God, fully trusting in His plan for my healing.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” —Psalm 147:3

In today’s fast-paced world, many individuals are facing mental health challenges, including conditions like manic depression and anxiety. While medication can help, it is not the only path to healing. Many find solace in faith, community support, and personal reflection. Engaging in a faith-based healing journey, such as the 52-week program mentioned, can foster emotional growth, resilience, and a deeper connection with spirituality. The Bible offers comfort and hope for those struggling with mental health issues. Verses like Jeremiah 30:17 reassure us of God’s promise to restore health and heal wounds. Embracing a spiritual approach often encourages individuals to explore their feelings and thoughts more openly, facilitating a sense of understanding and acceptance. Additionally, joining support groups can enrich the healing experience. Sharing your journey with others who face similar challenges can provide a sense of belonging and encouragement. Utilizing hashtags such as #MentalHealthJourney or #HealingThroughFaith on social media can help connect with a larger community focused on healing and support. In doing so, we realize we are not alone in our struggles, and together, we can navigate towards a healthier, fulfilled life.
