Juicy Prime Rib: A Show-Stopping Feast

Ingredients:

• 1 (4-6 pound) prime rib roast (bone-in or boneless)

• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• 2 tablespoons salt

• 1 tablespoon black pepper

• 1 tablespoon garlic powder

• 3-4 cloves of garlic cut in half

• 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Roast:

• Remove the prime rib from the refrigerator at least 2 hours before cooking to bring it to room temperature.

• Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

• Tied the prime rib together.

2. Season the Roast:

• Pat the roast dry with paper towels.

• Rub the olive oil all over the meat.

• Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary (if using) in a small bowl. Rub the mixture generously over the entire roast.

3. Cook the Roast:

• Place the roast on a roasting rack in a large pan, fat side up.

• 120°F (49°C) for rare

• 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare

• 140°F (60°C)
