🇮🇳Is it safe to travel to India? Check this out!

✅Cross-city transportation was arranged by hiring local private drivers, which made the schedule relatively flexible and safe.

✅From New Delhi Airport, you can take the metro into the city or book an Uber.

✅For meals, we dined mostly at restaurants and everything was fine — no stomach issues at all. You can prepare some small snacks; if any children come up to you, you can share with them.

✅Eight days in India is actually not quite enough. If you have more time, it’s worth staying a little longer.

✅ We met a lot of nice people. Highly recommended to hire a local guide to show you around!

... Read moreTraveling around India can be an enriching experience, but getting around requires careful planning for safety and convenience. Based on my trip, hiring private drivers turned out to be a great choice—not only did it provide flexibility in schedule, but it also helped me avoid crowded public transport which may feel overwhelming for first-timers. When landing at New Delhi Airport, I recommend taking the metro or booking an Uber for a reliable and safe ride straight into the city. Food is often a common concern when traveling in India. I mostly ate at restaurants without any stomach problems, and carrying some small snacks was a smart idea, especially when kids approached during sightseeing. Sharing snacks was a heartwarming way to connect with locals. An eight-day itinerary covering Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur gave me glimpses of monuments like Humayun's Tomb and Nahargarh Fort. However, exploring India's rich culture and history thoroughly really needs more time, so consider extending your stay if possible. Important safety tips include staying vigilant in crowded areas, keeping your belongings secure, and preferring guided tours with local experts. Hiring a knowledgeable guide not only enhanced security but also enriched my cultural understanding. Images from my journey highlighted UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Red Fort and Mehrauli Archaeological Park, showcasing India's architectural marvels. This enriched the trip aesthetically and culturally. In short, India is safe to travel when you prepare thoughtfully, respect local customs, and stay cautious. The warmth of welcoming people and unforgettable monuments make the adventure worthwhile.
