Would you try the hot-cold routine?

finally tried Bathhouse at Fernvale and i think we’ve found our new reset spot 🛁✨

$29 per pax, well maintained, and practically in our backyard if you’re in the northeast. honestly such good value.

we did 4 rounds of hot tub to ice bath and it was such a good experience. i’m very much a heat person so the magnesium salt hot tub was my favourite part 🔥 the ice bath i’ll keep to once a month or so since apparently females shouldn’t do it too frequently!

a few things worth knowing before you go:

- drink electrolytes between dips, it really helps with cramps and dizziness from the temperature change

- the sauna is lovely but if you’re heat sensitive, keep it short

- locker room and toilets are unisex

.

would you try the hot-cold routine or are you strictly a warm bath person? 👇

... Read moreIf you’re curious about incorporating the hot-cold routine into your wellness habits, Bathhouse Fernvale offers a genuine and convenient experience. Beyond the initial four rounds of hot tub dips followed by ice baths that I tried, it’s important to listen to your body’s signals. For instance, females are generally advised not to do ice baths too frequently, so spacing sessions monthly is safer. Hydration plays a key role; sipping electrolyte drinks between rounds really helped me avoid cramps and dizziness caused by the drastic temperature shifts. The magnesium salt in the hot tub adds soothing benefits, perfect for heat lovers like myself. Meanwhile, the sauna experience, while enjoyable, should be brief if you’re sensitive to heat. Facilities at Bathhouse Fernvale are clean and practical, including unisex locker rooms and toilets, which might be good to know beforehand. Whether you’re someone who enjoys warm baths exclusively or eager to try this hot-cold method, starting gradually and monitoring how your body reacts is the best approach. This routine could become your new reset ritual, offering an unbeatable way to refresh your body and mind close to home.
