Weekday JB Reset for Busy Mums ✨

As a working mum with multiple young kids, I treasure my weekday off when they’re in school. It’s the best time to head into JB — less crowd, smoother errands, and a little self-care in between 💛

Here’s what a productive JB run looks like for me:

🕣 8:30AM – Cleared Woodlands customs

🕘 9:00AM – Breakfast stop at Tien Tian kopitiam

They specialise in QQ, air-tossed wanton noodles — super springy noodles and flavourful wantons. Definitely a must-try!

🕙 10:00AM – Lotus’s Tebrau for dry goods

Stocked up on essentials like rice and cooking oils (always worth it here!)

🕦 11:30AM – Family Thai (3 mins from Lotus’s)

Weekday promo steal: RM263 for a 120-min Thai massage for two 😍

Been here 3 times — consistently good and so worth it.

🕝 2:30PM – JWC Café for a light lunch

Ordered hot latte, banana matcha pudding, coffee chicken chop & Milo dinosaur waffle to share

Food was decent, vibes were great. Total damage: ~RM93

🕞 3:30PM – Legend Car Wash

Basic wash for RM12 — they always do a solid job 👍

Plus, it’s super convenient near CIQ and right beside a petrol station.

🕓–🕔 4:00–5:00PM – Slight jam at CIQ, but still made it back in time to pick the kids from school 💪

A little productivity, a little pampering — just what I needed ✨

One tip I swear by is to start early to avoid peak crowds, especially at Woodlands customs, which often gets congested later in the day. If you enjoy good food, trying the QQ wanton noodles and dumplings at Tien Tian Kopitiam is a great treat—they stand out with their springy texture and rich flavors. For grocery shopping, Lotus’s Tebrau is my go-to for stocking dry goods in bulk, saving both time and money. Taking a break is crucial, so I highly recommend the Family Thai Spa's weekday promo. The 120-minute massage is therapeutic and ideal for working mums needing to recharge. It’s not only affordable but also consistently excellent. For a light yet satisfying lunch, JWC Café offers unique dishes like banana matcha pudding and coffee chicken chop, perfect to share while soaking in the cozy atmosphere. Lastly, pre-booking a basic car wash at Legend Car Wash near CIQ keeps your car fresh without interrupting your schedule. Having it close to the customs and a petrol station means multitasking errands efficiently. Overall, combining tasks with moments of pampering has made my weekday JB runs something I look forward to, helping me balance between motherhood and self-care effortlessly.
