Coming from the more somber, post-apocalyptic vibe of WW, Teyvat feels incredibly bright and inviting. The music is also just chef's kiss right from the start. One of the biggest adjustments has been the combat system. In Wuthering Waves, I'm used to speedy combos, parries, and echo abilities that feel very dynamic. Genshin's combat, at least in the early stages, feels a bit more structured around elemental reactions. It's less about raw speed and more about strategic element application. It took a bit to get used to the rhythm, but seeing those elemental bursts pop off is pretty satisfying. And then there's the exploration! I started as The Outlander Who Caught the Wind, and immediately, I was running around, finding these statues scattered across the land. It's like every corner has something to discover, whether it's a treasure chest or a puzzle. I was so used to WW's grappling hook and parkour, but gliding in Genshin is surprisingly relaxing and fun. I even spotted some interesting creatures like a Blue Horned Lizard chilling around – totally different fauna than what I'm used to! And who could forget Paimon? She pretty much immediately popped up and started guiding me. I've heard so much about her, and honestly, she's a lot chattier than I expected! She literally said, "Paimon'll take you to the Anemo God's place first, and there's a reason real." She's quite the companion, though sometimes I wish she'd let me figure things out on my own a bit more, haha. But I guess that’s part of the charm of having a little emergency food guide. The world feels vast, and I’m just at the beginning. I'm excited to see what other elements and regions I can unlock. It’s definitely a different beast than Wuthering Waves, but it has its own unique charm. It's not about being 'better' or 'worse', but about a different kind of adventure.
