My 4th of July Outfit
Happy 250th!! I LOVE dressing up for the 4th 🇺🇸Reminiscing on the celebrations already!
⭐️ This fourth was definitely a first for me.
Our community here wasn’t able to do fireworks (unless it was a big event) because we’ve been having a lot of fires.
⭐️ Due to that, I attended my first drone show. It was actually really impressive so I was alright with the substitute. However… nothing beats the feeling of fireworks.
⭐️ Fortunately, we were able to go to a baseball game that had fireworks and that was a BLAST (pun totally intended)!!! 🥳
❓What do you think of the whole drone vs. fireworks situation? Are drones better because they’re less hazardous and provide relief for animals and veterans? Or is it just not the same celebrating without fireworks?
Let me know:) I’m curious what you think!!!

I’ve always loved dressing up for the 4th of July, and this year’s outfit truly captured my patriotic spirit. Combining thrifted finds with staple pieces like UNIQLO bottoms and classic Onitsuka Tigers gave me a great balance of comfort and style. If you’re aiming to create an easy and budget-friendly summer look, consider mixing thrifting with well-known brands. Living in an area affected by wildfires, the absence of traditional fireworks deeply impacted the celebrations. Instead, attending a drone light show opened my eyes to innovative ways of commemorating holidays. These shows, with synchronized lights and music, provide a mesmerizing display without the risks associated with fireworks. They minimize fire hazards and are less stressful for pets, wildlife, and veterans sensitive to loud noises. However, I must admit, nothing quite replaces the excitement and nostalgia fireworks bring. The sudden burst of colors and sounds evokes a sense of community and celebration that’s hard to replicate. Thankfully, catching a baseball game with a fireworks finale gave me the best of both worlds this year. For those wondering whether to embrace drone shows or stick to fireworks, it really depends on personal values and local circumstances. Many communities are adopting drone shows for safety and environmental reasons, but if you’re craving the traditional experience, choosing smaller, regulated fireworks events might be a good compromise. Lastly, accessorizing with handmade and Lovisa jewelry, paired with a stylish Rachel Zoe purse, elevated my outfit while supporting independent creators and trusted brands. Sharing these details may inspire others to create meaningful and personalized holiday looks that celebrate both fashion and values simultaneously.
