For instance, the main goal for many, myself included, is ‘เสริมดวง’ (Serm Duang), which literally translates to ‘enhancing luck’ or ‘boosting destiny.’ This ritual is all about inviting prosperity, good health, and overall good fortune into your life for the upcoming year. While I focused on ‘เสริมดวง,’ the temple is also famous for ‘แก้ชง’ (Gae Chong) or ‘แก้ปีชง’ (Gae Pee Chong). This ritual is specifically for those whose zodiac animal signs are believed to be in conflict with the current year's animal, in this case, the Dragon.
