$32 caifan?!? SHOCKED

Chanced upon this store at cityhall.

Everything looked so good I wanted to try them - abit and abit all added up. The bill was $32 I got a shock of my life. Thankfully they said just portion out what I truly wanted and it still ended up about $10.58 🫠🫠

Beware! Control what you take. 🤡

... Read moreFrom my experience, cai fan stalls can look very tempting with a wide variety of dishes laid out, but it’s important to be mindful that they often charge by weight rather than a fixed meal price, which can lead to unexpectedly high bills. At one popular stall, I almost paid nearly $30 for my selection of rice and sides because I didn’t realize it wasn’t a buffet. The cashier weighed each item, including brown rice and porridge, which added up quickly. A tip I learned: always ask or check if the cai fan place charges based on portion weight or a set price. Some stalls advertise “free membership” or special top-up offers which might help you save if you frequent the store, but don’t let that distract you from watching your portions. Controlling how much rice and side dishes you choose can make a big difference in your final cost. Also, don’t be fooled by abundant cold dishes and toppings – taking too many can increase your bill beyond expectations. My advice is to start with smaller amounts, taste them, and then add more if you like. This way, you can enjoy the variety without the shock of a high bill.

I survived for 13-16 hours for concert ?!
I went on 3 October 2025 for the F1 concert on day 1 because CL & GDRAGON were performing and I had to go. 🥹 As I want to secure barricade, I reached gate 3 at 6.30am and there was an unofficial queue. It was chaotic as there were a lot of overseas fans that came and some overnight to queue.
