C-dramas recos!! Netflix edition 🙌🏻
I was a fan of k-dramas and didn’t get the hype of c-dramas, till Who Rules the World (Zhao Lusi, Yang Yang) and has never looked back since then!
Though I tried to pick up k-dramas again but the romance and storyline are so slow burned compared to c-dramas! I guess mainly also due to the full focus needed to watch k-dramas to read the subtitles😅

Couldn’t take FL’s sweet voice in the beginning but got used to it. The diabetes after they got together, was a lil overbearing. FL’s wardrobe is to die for though!

Top drama for 2025!! This drama gotten me hooked badly, became a fan of LYN that got me watching his online concert replay and douyin on him for WEEKS. Plot is easy to grasp too, smart FL, “she fall first but he falls harder”.

Enjoyed the romcom but was a little diabetes after the leads got together. Skipped most of the gaming graphics as it didn’t really contribute to the plot much.

Meet Yourself (ft. Liu Yifei, Li Xian)
I mean, it’s Liu Yifei, the no.1 goddess! Love the leads’ maturity in handling matters and building of their relationship from strangers to friends to lovers. The cinematic was beautiful. There were other characters development but wasn’t that keen, skipped most of the parts.

Princess Royal (ft. Zhao Jinmai, Zhang Linghe)
It was good in the beginning where the leads reignite their love, especially when the FL protected the ML from family’s punishment, it was so good that I replayed the particular scene. However it gotten dry as the plot reaches the climax.

The First Frost (ft. Zhang Ruonan, Bai Jingting)
Their chem and face cards carried the show! However the romance is too slow burn for my liking, it’s so apparent that they have feelings for each other but the love line just developed very very slowly.
