LIVE WORTHY OF GOD'S LOVE!!! MATTHEW 16

We must give up our lives for God, to save our Souls with salvation!!! What do I mean, I mean to receive forgiveness that leads to salvation; we must bury our sinful nature, die, and live committed to God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit!!! Let no one take nor shall we give away our life in eternity, just think all of this is laid up for us to return to life with our Heavenly Father!!! That is where we are headed, to live as we were meant to live, in Godliness as an example for all people, with Love for our brothers and sisters, and completely faithful and disciplined in the Lord!!! Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!!! Glory to God!!!

MATTHEW 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

He challenges his followers with the profound truth: "Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it" (Matthew 16:25). This passage urges Christians to prioritize their spiritual life over worldly gains, encouraging a deeper commitment to God. As believers, adopting a life that reflects God’s love requires us to turn away from our sinful nature and embrace a path of righteousness. It invites us to build genuine relationships rooted in love, encouragement, and faithfulness. The essence of discipleship is not just about following traditions; it's about embodying the principles of love for God and neighbor as taught by Christ. The teachings of Jesus in this chapter resonate with many today, as they offer hope and guidance in a world filled with distraction. As we surrender our lives to God, we experience true freedom and fulfillment in His presence. This transformative process is a journey worth taking, knowing that our ultimate reward lies in eternal fellowship with our Heavenly Father. By living as examples of God’s love, we can inspire others to seek that same salvation and purpose.
