The Father is God, The Son is Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Trinity, Who's part is to embed in us God’s saved creations, and guide us to Holiness!!!
The Holy Spirit continues eternally to lead others especially those who are perishing in Jesus Christ administered Glory!!! The Spirit will lovingly unite us/believers to Jesus Christ and we will be drawn into the Loving life of the triune God!!! In Jesus Mighty Name!!!
JOHN 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” 22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

... Read moreThe Holy Spirit, as promised in John 14:26, truly is our divine teacher and reminder, guiding us into all truth. That verse, which says, 'The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you,' has been a cornerstone in my own faith walk. But how exactly does this teaching and reminding manifest in our daily lives? Often, it's through the extraordinary 'gifts' that the Spirit bestows upon us.
When we talk about the '7 gifts of the Holy Spirit,' we're referring to special graces given to believers to strengthen our faith, help us live righteously, and serve others. These aren't just for a select few; they’re available to all who open their hearts to the Spirit's leading. Here’s a little about what each means to me:
Wisdom: This isn't just everyday smarts, but the ability to see life through God's eyes, to understand His divine purpose and plan. It's like when I'm faced with a complex situation, and suddenly, a deep, peaceful clarity guides my thoughts beyond mere logic.
Understanding: While wisdom helps us see the bigger picture, understanding helps us grasp the deeper meaning of God's truths. Reading scripture used to feel abstract at times, but with this gift, it's like a light bulb goes off, and I truly comprehend the spiritual depth of the message.
Counsel (Right Judgment): This gift helps us make good decisions and know the right way to act in any situation. There are times when friends come to me with problems, and words of comfort or direction seem to flow through me, words I didn't even know I possessed.
Fortitude (Courage): Life inevitably brings challenges to our faith. Fortitude gives us the strength to stand firm in our beliefs, even when it's difficult or unpopular. I’ve felt this quiet strength pushing me forward when I felt overwhelmed, encouraging me to do what is right.
Knowledge: This gift allows us to know God and to know ourselves in relation to Him. It's not just intellectual knowledge, but a deep, personal knowing of God's character and His plan, which brings immense comfort and confidence.
Piety (Reverence): This is a deep sense of respect and love for God, inspiring us to worship and serve Him faithfully. It’s that feeling of awe and closeness during prayer or worship, where my heart just pours out in devotion and gratitude.
Fear of the Lord (Awe): Don't let the word 'fear' mislead you! This isn't about being scared of God, but rather a profound sense of awe and wonder at His immense power, holiness, and majesty. It inspires us to live righteously, out of love and reverence for Him, wanting to avoid anything that might displease such a loving Father.
These gifts are truly practical tools for our spiritual journey. They empower us to live out Christ’s teachings, just as John 14:26 promises the Spirit will remind us. Seeking and utilizing these gifts daily can transform our lives, helping us to not only navigate the world with divine guidance but also to be a light for others.
