COLOSSIANS 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.💯💯💯💜💜💜🙏🏾🙏🏻🙏🏿

... Read moreIn Colossians 3, we are reminded to embody values that not only enrich our spiritual lives but also foster harmony and love within our communities. Living a life that points to Jesus requires more than faith; it means practicing compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience daily. These virtues help us support one another and cultivate an environment where forgiveness thrives, mirroring the grace that Jesus extended to us.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool, essential for healing relationships and building strong bonds among believers. It echoes God’s own forgiveness and invites peace to rule our hearts. By forgiving grievances, we eliminate barriers to unity and allow love to bind us together perfectly. This love is the foundation that holds all virtues in harmony and reflects the pure love of Christ.
Moreover, letting the peace of Christ rule in our hearts is central to our calling as members of one body. It transforms our interactions, inspiring gratitude and encouraging us to share the message of Christ rich in wisdom through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. When we act in Jesus’ name, whether in word or deed, we give thanks to God and affirm our dedication to His will.
Living to point to Jesus also means recognizing that our true value comes from His love and the indwelling Holy Spirit. This deep connection empowers us to persevere, heal others, and remain steadfast in faith. Embracing these teachings can lead to a life that not only honors God but also impacts those around us profoundly and positively.
