Today is a day of gratitude.
Nine years ago, I finished a battle I never expected to fight a second time. There were moments of fear, uncertainty, and many prayers. Through God’s grace, the support of family and friends, and a lot of determination, I am blessed to celebrate 9 years cancer-free today.
As a two-time cancer survivor, I don’t take a single day for granted. Every sunrise, every hug from my grandchildren, every quiet morning by the lake feels like a gift.
If you’re facing cancer or another difficult challenge, keep going. There is hope. One day at a time.
Thank you, Lord, for these nine beautiful years. 💗

Living through cancer twice has taught me invaluable lessons about strength and resilience. Each day after treatment feels like a second chance, a gift that I embrace fully with a grateful heart. Faith has been my anchor, giving me hope during the darkest nights when fear and uncertainty threatened to overwhelm me. I recall countless moments when prayers carried me through and family support became my fortress of comfort. One powerful insight I’ve gained is the importance of finding joy in the little things — a sunrise, a warm hug from loved ones, or the quiet peace of morning by the lake. These everyday miracles remind me why every day is precious and worth cherishing. For anyone facing cancer or other difficulties, the journey may be tough, but it’s also filled with hope. Staying determined and leaning on a support system makes a huge difference. Embracing each day with faith over fear creates a resilience that helps you overcome obstacles. The words seen in my journey’s reflection—Faith, Family, Strength, Grace, Hope, Resilience, and Gratitude—are not just concepts but living realities that have shaped my healing process. Holding on to these values keeps me grounded and grateful for every moment lived. If you’re on a similar path, remember: progress may be slow, but persistence and faith can lead to triumph. Celebrate your small victories and trust that your purpose is unfolding even when the path seems uncertain. Keep going, one day at a time.
