Walmart Easter Finds That Isn't Candy
Shopping for Easter can be challenging. Especially when you have children that have dietary restrictions and can't eat the Easter candy. However, Walmart carries everything you need for the holiday season, including clothing, toys, plushies, decorations, and so much more. #walmart #easterfinds #walmartsupercenter
Finding the perfect non-candy Easter basket fillers at Walmart for 2026 has become my personal mission, especially with dietary restrictions in mind! As much as I love a good chocolate bunny, I’ve found that focusing on alternatives not only keeps things healthier but also offers gifts that last long after the holiday. This year, I made it a point to explore every corner of Walmart, and I’m so excited to share my strategy and favorite finds with you! First off, timing is everything. For the best selection of unique non-candy items, I always recommend starting your Easter shopping at Walmart a few weeks before the actual holiday. The seasonal aisles tend to be fully stocked, and you’ll avoid the last-minute rush where all the best finds disappear. Don't just stick to the main Easter display! While it's great for themed items, I always wander into other departments. The toy section is a goldmine. This year, I spotted incredible options like the Little Tikes Creative Chefs Easter Basket Kit, which comes with color-changing eggs and play sand – perfect for imaginative little ones. And for that 'wow' factor, the Little Live Pets Surprise Chick that actually hatches and hops is a definite winner! For kids who love miniature worlds, the Honeybee Acres Treetop Hideaway playset or the adorable McScampers bunny family figures make fantastic, long-lasting gifts. The apparel section is another must-visit. I absolutely fell in love with a cute pink t-shirt that says 'SOME BUNNY NEEDS SLEEP' – it’s practical and utterly charming. And let’s not forget the book section! I found a delightful children's book titled 'God's Funniest Animals: Would You Ever Pet a Platypus?' which is both fun and engaging. These are items that provide joy and utility beyond just a sugar rush. Of course, you can't go wrong with plushies. Walmart always has an amazing array, and this year was no exception. I saw an adorable pink bunny plush doll from Hopscotch Lane and a classic soft, brown and white bunny plush toy that would make any kid's day. Even simple, inexpensive items like a colorful bird-shaped ball-drop toy can add so much fun to a basket. Shopping at Walmart for non-candy Easter goodies for 2026 doesn't have to be a challenge. By thinking outside the box, exploring different departments, and starting a bit early, you can curate unique, thoughtful, and healthier Easter baskets that your kids will genuinely love. It's so rewarding to see their faces light up over a new toy or book instead of just another chocolate egg!
