Spotted these two at Shark Valley in the Everglades, and I swear — they understood the assignment. ❣️
One hand (paw? claw?) resting on the other. Completely still. Completely together. Just… existing in each other’s presence. 🥹
It made me think about how love doesn’t always need to be loud or performative. Sometimes it’s just this: quiet companionship. Knowing someone’s there. Choosing to rest next to them when you could be anywhere else.
I don’t know if alligators mate for life, but in that moment? They taught me something about it... 🫠
