Jesus is Prince of peace !
Was going through my camera roll and was about to delete things that’s a duplicate. I was watching this video and Spotted the sign: PEACE ROAD 💟
And what instantly came to my mind was what I wrote on my calendar🙏🏽
My peace isn’t tied to a place—it’s tied to a person. That person is JESUS, the Prince of Peace 🕊️
Not where… but WHO. 🙌🏾
#PeaceIsAPath and He’s the Way.
1. Isaiah 9:6
"And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
2. John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
3. Philippians 4:7
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
4. Isaiah 26:3
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."
I remember seeing that 'PEACE ROAD' sign and feeling such a profound connection to what I'd been learning. It really hit me: my peace isn't tied to a place – it's tied to a person, and that person is JESUS, the Prince of Peace. It's not about where I am, but who I follow. This journey of realizing that Jesus is truly #PeaceIsAPath, and He's the Way, has been incredibly transformative for me. Many of us search for peace in external circumstances – a perfect job, a harmonious relationship, financial security. But as I've experienced, that kind of peace often feels temporary, fragile, and conditional. The Bible talks about a peace that "transcends all understanding," which is exactly what I've found in Jesus. Worldly peace can be a fleeting absence of conflict, a 'false peace' that doesn't hold up when trials come. But the peace Jesus offers is an internal calm, a steadfastness of mind, even amidst chaos. It's a gift that guards your heart and mind, as Philippians 4:7 so beautifully puts it. So, how do we practically tap into this divine peace? For me, it starts with trust. Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." Cultivating a "steadfast mind" means intentionally turning my thoughts towards God's promises and His character, especially when I feel overwhelmed by life's 'futile struggles.' It’s about daily surrender, recognizing that I don't have to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders. When anxieties creep in, I remind myself of John 14:27, where Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." This isn't just a nice sentiment; it's a powerful declaration and a promise. Finding peace with Jesus also means engaging with His word, just like the verses shared. Each verse offers a unique facet of His peace. Isaiah 9:6 establishes His identity as the 'Prince of Peace' from prophecy, setting the foundation. John 14:27 is His direct promise to us, assuring us that His peace is different and enduring. Philippians 4:7 describes the effect of this peace – it guards our hearts. And Isaiah 26:3 gives us the condition for perfect peace: steadfast trust. This isn't to say life becomes problem-free. Far from it! We still face challenges. But having Jesus as my Prince of Peace means I have an anchor in the storm. It means even on days when I feel like I'm on a bumpy 'PEACE ROAD,' I know the destination and the one guiding me. His peace is a constant presence, a comforting whisper, reminding me that I am loved, I am safe, and I am never alone. It’s truly the meaning of peace in the Bible, a holistic well-being that flows from a relationship with Him. When you seek Him first, that profound, unshakeable peace follows.
