Spring has sprung! ๐Ÿงบ ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒธ

One of the things that help me save money weekly is to meal plan! I make a menu based off of what I have, and buy what I need to complete them, using pantry staples, produce and proteins.

๐ŸŒฟ Plan your meals around what produce is in season! Different foods grow throughout the year, once you learn whatโ€™s ready for harvest, markets are much easier to navigate and plan for.

๐ŸŒฟ Bring cash! Some vendors do not accept cards, cash helps our economy grow when we pass it hand to hand with small businesses and farmers!

๐ŸŒฟ Get to know your farmers and vendors, network with them and figure out their schedules. Follow them on social media, keep in contact. This will help you figure out what they bring weekly, be updated on sales, and some places offer pickups or bulk purchases on the farm! We have U-pick berry farms in our area, and activities like that are not only fun for the family, but also cost effective.

๐ŸŒฟ Supporting local growers is a great way to bolster your community, live greener and waste less! Our money goes farther when we buy local!

๐ŸŒฟ The more engagement local vendors get, the more they are encouraged to continue marketing with us! I have spent years as a vendor and it is life changing to build a family at the market. Youโ€™re helping someone support their family, pay their bills, take care of our earth, and provide local economy with growth and abundance! Shop local!
