meet my plants
i like to seed start what i can and then buy my plants cheap from local community members or barter for them. i recently got ahold of some already started plants that were super cheap ($2 per i believe) and wanted to talk about how excited i am for them. i got rhubarb specifically for the purpose of baking with it, and i've never grown it before. i got a serrano plant and a cayenne plant to continue my experiments with growing peppers. i got armenian cucumbers because that's the variety i'm choosing to grow this year and i'll be experimenting with trellising them. & as for tomato varieties i got golden jubilee, pineapple pig, super beefsteak, san marzano, black krim, and purple bumblebee. i also got a golden zucchini plant which usually i'd direct sow but i don't want to buy an entire pack of seeds for golden zucchini when i only want one plant. anyways, that's my exciting little garden announcement! progress is progressing! #plants #garden #tomato #gardening #homesteading
