I usually look for photos that truly capture someone's personality, maybe a lovely smile or a striking pose. For this latest piece, drawing that wonderful woman with her long dark hair and pink top was such a joy. Her reference photo just had so much character! I absolutely adore working with line art, and for this series, I've been experimenting with a black and pink palette. It gives the portraits a distinct, almost dreamy feel, don't you think? There's something so satisfying about simplifying a complex image down to its essential lines, especially when focusing on the delicate details of a woman's face – the curve of an eyelid, the shape of the lips.
