HEY YOU... ✝️💗

“And God heard their groaning…” Numbers 20:16 KJV

The wilderness did not create the Israelites’ fear, anger, or unbelief but it did reveal it. Pressure has a way of bringing hidden things to the surface.

Sometimes we ask God to remove the wilderness, while God is trying to show us what still needs healed, surrendered, or trusted inside of us.

Not every uncomfortable season is punishment though. Some seasons are mirrors so don’t run from what God is trying to reveal through this season.

There is growth in the honesty ✨

Often, when life feels overwhelming, it’s tempting to wish those hard seasons away, praying for immediate relief. But through personal experience, I’ve come to understand that these periods reveal the parts of ourselves that need attention—be it fear, anger, or disbelief. One particular instance stands out: during a challenging season of doubt and transition, instead of escaping the discomfort, I chose to lean into it, asking God to illuminate areas within me that required healing or surrender. It was through this honest self-reflection that I experienced unexpected growth. Pressure indeed brings hidden things to the surface, but it also paves the way for deeper trust and spiritual maturity. I remember reading Numbers 20:16, "And God heard their groaning...", reminding me that God is attentive to our struggles, not distant. This encouragement helped me see that uncomfortable seasons are not necessarily punishments but opportunities for transformation. It’s about acknowledging our feelings and allowing God’s timing—not ours—to guide the process. For anyone navigating tough times, I encourage embracing the wilderness as a chance to find clarity and strengthen faith. By facing the truth within, we position ourselves for renewal and a richer spiritual life. Growth might be uncomfortable, but it’s always worthwhile.
