not only is Peru an absolutely stunning country- it’s kind of a hidden gem in my opinion. it’s also a place so incredibly rich in history and culture. not to mention, the FOOD! 😋
my biggest recommendation before visiting Peru is to do your research. i’ve gotten many questions regarding safety in this country, or in South America in general, and it’s important you know where you’re staying! if a local tells you to avoid a certain area at night or never walk somewhere as a solo female traveler- listen to them! they know better than you. be safe and be careful always when traveling!
