Don’t forget this step!!
How to grow your seeds..
When growing seeds, I've found that managing moisture levels is absolutely critical. One essential tip everyone should remember is that seeds should never sit in standing water. Overwatering can cause the seeds to rot or lead to fungal infections, which stunt growth or kill the seedlings. From my experience, using well-draining seed trays or pots with holes at the bottom allows excess water to escape, keeping the roots aerated and healthy. After planting, it’s best to mist the soil lightly rather than pouring water directly. This helps maintain consistent moisture without saturation. Another useful approach is to place the seed containers on a tray with a layer of water but elevate the pots slightly above the water level, so they absorb moisture from below without being soaked. This method mimics natural conditions and prevents waterlogging. Keeping an eye on the soil texture is key—if it feels soggy or water pools on the surface, scale back your watering. Also, good ventilation and moderate temperature help the seeds germinate better and avoid problems related to too much moisture. Overall, balancing moisture—not too dry, not too wet—is the secret to growing strong seedlings ready to thrive once transplanted. These simple adjustments can make a major difference in your gardening success.
