125g protein + 35g fiber (no meal prep!)

I know this isn’t an aesthetic smoothie bowl and grilled chicken moment, but I’ve lost 25 lbs since June 9 by eating like this, not trying to force myself to eat foods I don’t like.

I hit 125g of protein and 35g of fiber today without a single ounce of meal prep.

Just high-protein snacks, frozen veggies, tuna (yes, a lot of it), and the foods I actually want.

I’m also a picky pescatarian, so my food has to be easy and actually good or I’m not eating it.

This works for me because I’m not trying to eat “perfect”, just consistent. I stay full, I don’t feel restricted, and I always save room for chocolate 🫶

Save this if you’re trying to build a routine that works for you, not just what everyone else is doing.

Also pls share your weird food combos. Mine can’t be the only chaotic ones.

... Read moreConsuming 125 grams of protein and 35 grams of fiber daily plays a vital role in maintaining satiety, supporting muscle health, and promoting digestive wellness, especially when pursuing weight loss goals. For picky eaters or those following a pescatarian diet, it can be challenging to meet these nutritional targets without complicated meal prep. However, incorporating convenient options like tuna (a rich, lean protein source), frozen vegetables packed with fiber, and nutritious high-protein snacks can simplify the process. Tuna, especially varieties like Safe Catch or flavored tuna creations, offers high-quality protein with minimal prep, making it ideal for busy lifestyles. Pairing it with fiber-rich frozen peas, carrots, or whole grains enhances digestive health and helps maintain fullness throughout the day. Including fiber goals in daily eating habits supports regular bowel movements and stabilizes blood sugar, critical for sustained energy and weight management. This flexible eating strategy emphasizes consistency over perfection, allowing you to avoid restrictive dieting while still hitting protein and fiber targets. By focusing on foods you actually want and enjoy, such as small portions of dark chocolate as a treat, this approach fosters sustainable healthy habits. Walking or other light physical activities complement the dietary routine to enhance weight loss and overall wellness. Using food tracking tools can help monitor protein and fiber intake, ensuring daily goals are met without overwhelm. Sharing your unique food combinations or favorite quick recipes can also motivate others on similar health journeys. Ultimately, balancing nutrition with enjoyment and ease is key to building a long-term routine that supports weight loss and well-being effectively.

What app are you tracking your food on? It’s so hard to remember to track my food down.
