25 Lbs Down - No Gym. No Prep. No Starving.

I’ve lost almost 25 pounds since June 9 without meal prep, the gym, or cutting out the foods I actually like.

I’m a picky pescatarian. I don’t cook. I hate being hungry. I just walk every day, eat high-protein weird little meals, and try to stay consistent. That’s it.

I usually eat around 1700 cals/day, but I do eat back some calories when I go on long walks (I average about 6–7 miles a day). I don’t starve myself, I just watch how much I eat.

💡 If I had to name my secret weapons?

• Tuna packets (80 cals, 16g protein - truly a staple my journey)

• Mini fiber tortillas (25 cals each, 7g fiber - I just stuff them in my mouth to hit my fiber goal lol)

• Frozen veggie bags - I eat a whole one with dinner basically every night.

I walk a lot because I actually enjoy it. I listen to podcasts, call my grandma, take pics of mushrooms, and just exist outside for a bit. It clears my head and closes my rings.

I’m not trying to be aesthetic or perfect, I’m just trying to eat like myself and move consistently. And honestly? This is the first time I’ve been able to stick with something this long.

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you “should” be doing more… just start with what feels easy. Tuna and tortillas literally changed my life.

Save this if you want real, weird, sustainable ideas.

What’s a food you refuse to give up even in a deficit??

... Read moreLosing weight without a strict gym regimen or tedious meal prep may seem challenging, but this journey proves it's achievable with simple, sustainable changes. One key to success is the consistent daily walking routine, averaging 6 to 7 miles, which not only helps burn calories but also promotes mental well-being. Walking while listening to podcasts or connecting with loved ones can make the activity enjoyable and maintain motivation. High-protein and high-fiber foods are essential components for feeling full and supporting metabolism. Tuna packets are an excellent low-calorie, high-protein snack that fits perfectly into a pescatarian diet. Coupled with mini fiber tortillas, which contribute to daily fiber goals, these foods can satisfy hunger without excess calories. Additionally, frozen vegetable bags add vital nutrients and volume to meals, making dinner more satisfying and nutritious. A moderate calorie intake around 1700 daily calories, adjusted with additional calories consumed after long walks, strikes a balance between creating a calorie deficit and avoiding starvation. Noticing the body’s hunger cues and allowing occasional flexibility in eating helps maintain long-term adherence to weight loss goals. The mental aspect is also crucial. Prioritizing being oneself, not aiming for perfect aesthetics, reduces pressure and helps sustain healthy habits. Taking small, manageable steps that fit one's lifestyle — like including favorite foods such as tuna and tortillas — can create a realistic and enjoyable weight loss approach. Ultimately, this strategy exemplifies how personalized, no-gym, no-prep plans centered on consistent movement, mindful eating, and nutrient-rich foods can lead to meaningful and lasting weight loss results.
