✨ The focus of this place:

- Alexandre de Créquy-Bernieulle (1628-1703) was arrested and exiled to the province by Cardinal Mazarin, and he later built the Château du Champ-de-Bataille between 1653 and 1665. After his arrest, the castle became the residence of the "de Merendonque" family.

- During the French Revolution, the castle was raided and destroyed, and the interior furnishings were sold scattered throughout France.
