Sharing some transparency while also wanting to say how grateful I am for this job!!! Truly love what I do so much and wouldn’t want to do anything else 🫶🏻 I could make a whole video on alllll the great things about it! The pros 100% outweigh the mental cons 🤍🫶🏻

... Read moreHey everyone! You know how much I genuinely adore being a content creator; it's a dream job that I wouldn't trade for anything. Seriously, the pros of this journey far outweigh any downsides. But in the spirit of true transparency, a topic I feel passionate about in our community, I wanted to open up a bit more about the real things I struggle with behind the scenes. It's not all perfectly curated feeds and viral moments, and I think it's important we talk about that. One of the biggest mental hurdles for me is constantly battling the feeling of *not being good enough online*. It's this nagging voice that pops up, especially when I see incredible work from others. There's immense pressure to always be creative, original, and engaging, and sometimes, no matter how much effort I pour into a piece of content, I still second-guess myself. As someone who tries to live by my beliefs, my identity is ultimately in Christ, but it's really hard to separate that from the online metrics and comments that can often make you feel inadequate. It's a constant effort to ground myself and remember my worth isn't tied to likes or follower counts. Then there's the challenge of trying to *disconnect from my job*. When your passion becomes your profession, the lines can get incredibly blurry. My phone often feels like an extension of my hand, and it's tough to switch off, even when I'm trying to relax or spend quality time with my family. The internet never sleeps, and neither does the content creation world, which can lead to burnout if you're not careful. I'm learning to set boundaries, but it's an ongoing process. Another thing I've noticed is never truly *feeling satisfied in my accomplishments*. I remember hitting certain milestones, like 10k followers, thinking, 'Oh my gosh, that's all I want!' And then, once you're there, that feeling wears off, and you're immediately looking ahead to 50k, then 100k, and beyond. It's this continuous chase for the next big number, and it makes it hard to truly celebrate how far you've come. I’m currently at 130k followers and still sometimes feel like a 'loser' if growth slows down. It’s wild how quickly the goalposts move, and it's a mindset I'm actively trying to shift to appreciate the present more. This ties directly into the trap of *comparison*. I am always comparing myself to other creators, their aesthetics, their engagement, their growth. It's so hard not to compare your life to other people when you're constantly scrolling through carefully curated highlights. It makes me question my own content, my own efforts. 'Why don't I grow?', 'My content sucks, I'm not entertaining.' These thoughts creep in, and it's a battle to remind myself that my journey is unique, and my value isn't diminished by someone else's success. And finally, a big one for me is the *guilt of screen time*. My kids are at an age now where they understand mommy works on her phone, and while they're incredibly supportive, I constantly grapple with the feeling that I should be more present, more disconnected from my device. I try to balance it, but the nature of the job means a lot of time spent creating, editing, and engaging. It’s a constant juggle, and I’m always open to suggestions on how to manage it better! I wanted to share all of this with full transparency because I believe it's crucial to show the unfiltered reality of this path. If you're just starting out or even an established creator, know that these struggles are real, and you're not alone. Despite these mental cons, the joy and fulfillment I get from connecting with you all and building this community are immeasurable. It’s truly a job I love, and I’m so grateful for every single one of you.

Stop Over Sharing & Embarrassing Yourself
Hey everyone, Let's talk about a topic that's been on my mind lately: oversharing. It's easy to get caught up in the moment and spill every detail of our lives, but trust me, it's not doing us any favors. Here's why you should hit the brakes on oversharing: 1. It's
