CBD girlie on a quest for the best Viet bites 🥢✨️
If you’re like me and often find yourself craving authentic Vietnamese food right in the heart of the city, the CBD area in Singapore has some fantastic spots worth exploring. One of my favorite experiences is visiting Ms Saigon at Orchard Plaza. Their BBQ pork banh mi packs so much flavor and is generously portioned, making it a great grab-and-go meal since they’re open 24 hours. I love pairing it with a strong, rich milk coffee to recharge. Another gem is BanhMi PATE GA near Dhoby Ghaut MRT. It’s a popular lunch spot, so I recommend arriving early to avoid the rush. Their marinated pork is delicious, though I found the fried spring rolls to be a bit dry, so I usually focus on the banh mi itself here. For pho lovers, Lucky Saigon at Boat Quay has become my go-to place when I want a warm, comforting bowl. Their lunch sets offer excellent value with high-quality ingredients. Plus, the extra seating upstairs makes for a more relaxed dining experience. At Super Ngon on Club Street, you can enjoy both soup and dry pho versions, each boasting a perfect balance of flavors. Lastly, NamNam at Raffles City gives you the freedom to customize your sauces from their condiment bar, adding a fun and personalized touch to your meal. Their efficient service and filling lunch sets make it a favorite for busy days. Exploring these places feels like a mini adventure through Vietnam’s vibrant street food culture without leaving the CBD. If you want fresh, flavorful Vietnamese bites, these are definitely worth a try!
