13 Months Post-Op and Ready to Level Up!
Today marks 13 months since my VSG surgery, and I’m down about 80 lbs!
It hasn’t been perfect—I’ve made mistakes and had some inconsistent moments—but today, that changes.
I’m committing to building consistency and discipline, starting now!
My goal? To post every day for the next year.
Once a week, we’ll do a weigh-in—just a quick check-in to track progress, no pressure!
We’re aiming for at least 4 meals a week. They might be healthy, snacky, or full-on cheat mode (because balance is key!).
And the other 2 days? All about lifestyle vibes—books, art, self-care, and everything in between.
Come along with me on this journey to the next level of health and happiness—let’s glow up together!

Weight loss journeys can be challenging, especially after procedures like Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG). In the first year post-op, many individuals experience significant weight loss but may also face plateaus or struggles with consistency. It's crucial to focus on building healthy habits and understanding that setbacks are part of the process. Consistency is key! Whether you're following a strict meal plan or allowing for some cheat meals, listening to your body and prioritizing balanced nutrition can help you maintain momentum. Incorporating regular weigh-ins not only keeps you accountable but can also highlight your progress over time. Beyond dietary choices, focusing on self-care, such as engaging with art or reading inspirational books, can greatly impact your overall well-being. These activities can provide a mental break and promote happiness—essential for sustaining a healthy lifestyle. Embrace each step of your journey and share your experiences with others in the community through hashtags like #vsgjourney and #vsgtransformation to connect and motivate each other in achieving health and happiness.
