Anywho, I was blessed to sign with my current agency Tony Aye Artistry, who has really been an inspiration to me for the music scene. So much so, that I was able to put together my life's journey through music into a 15 minute set.
It felt good narrating my life through song, starting with B-I-B-L-E, one I wrote back when I thought I was going to be a Inspirational Artist over 12 years ago now. Then went into #LoveAndWar by Tamar Braxton-Herbert , a song that helped me get through a divorce. Then on to a song I sung in a singing competition when I lived in Germany, called #WagonWheel by Darius Rucker helping solidify my love of country music. Then performed #BabyWasADancer paying homage to one of my heroes Billy Porter. I love him and am glad and motivated to even have him following my journey on IG. Lastly, I got to sing my favorite song EVER, #MyWay paying homage to the goat Frank Sinatra and love him, but honestly it's Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. who solidified this song for me. Call it representation, call it relatability as I did relate to his story of hardship and triumph, but when he won America's Got Talent, I did too.
