実際に行ってみて「これ、想像してた“エジプト展”と違う…！」と思ったのが、展示の距離感と没入感でした。ツタンカーメン・ミュージアム（ミステリーオブツタンカーメン）は、“見る”だけじゃなくて「自分が発見者になった気分」を味わえる作りで、デートや友達同士でも盛り上がりやすいタイプだと思います。 見どころはやっぱり、ツタンカーメンの墓の再現。約100年前にハワード・カーターが発見した…というストーリーを知ってから入ると、同じ空間を歩くだけでテンションが上がりました。さらに、現地エジプトでも入れない部屋を再現して“潜入”できる演出があって、特別感が強め。暗めの空間＋スポットライトで、写真より実物の方が雰囲気あります。 私が一番印象に残ったのは「世界に3セットしかないスーパーレプリカ」と、本物を3Dスキャンした壁画をかなり近くで見られるところ。細かい凹凸や色のムラまで見えて、「博物館のガラス越しに眺める」感じじゃないのが良かったです。古代エジプトやツタンカーメンに詳しくなくても楽しめるけど、逆に“ツタンカーメンって何年前の人？”くらいの基礎（古代エジプト・新王国時代の王で、発掘が大ニュースになった）を頭に入れて行くと満足度が上がります。 所要時間は、写真を撮りながらゆっくり見てだいたい60〜90分くらいが目安。展示をちゃんと読み込む人はもう少し長めでも良さそうでした。アクセスは新高島駅から徒歩圏内で、みなとみらい駅からも歩けるので、周辺でカフェや夜景までセットにしやすいのも推しポイント。 「ツタンカーメンミュージアムの割引はある？」と気になる人は多いと思うのですが、時期によって前売り・期間限定キャンペーン・提携サイトのクーポンなど条件が変わりやすい印象でした。私は行く前に公式サイトとチケット販売ページをチェックして、最安の買い方がないか確認しました（当日券しかない日もあるので注意）。 口コミ的には、展示の雰囲気や再現度に満足する人が多い一方で、「思ったよりコンパクト」と感じる可能性もあるので、“サクッと非日常を味わう体験型”として予定を組むのがおすすめ。みなとみらいで雨の日デート先に迷ったときの選択肢としてもかなり使えました。
