No More Locs?? 😳
Yes— you read that right. I no longer have locs and I didn’t have to cut my hair off!
It took me two weeks, two bottles of conditioner and a wire tail comb. I didn’t keep track of the fallout because it was too hard to look at BUT I can tell you it was enough to make a wig 😩
Why I Did It:
• Fresh start — to put it simply I want smaller, healthier locs with neater parts
• Trauma Release — I’ve been through so much these past few years and I feel my hair was a direct representation of that
Things I Learned:
• My hair was damaged asf — not just because of the amount of fall out but the overall condition of my locs and the tenderness of my scalp
• I didn’t miss my fro as much as I thought — once I got my locs out, all I could think about was the products I needed and how often I would have to touch my head
Do I recommend combing out your locs? Only if you have an attachment to length, if you’re okay starting over shave that sh*t off because this was the most tedious thing I have EVER had to do

I just made a post a couple days ago about mine. I don’t want to cut them off or comb out just need them shorter. There are so many pro and cons to Locs.
