Honoring my cat with tattoos

When I took Eevee to the vet, I was so sure it was just an abscess and she would come home with me. I wasn’t prepared to be lying on the floor with her, screaming and crying while saying goodbye. But life rarely happens like we want it to.

Sleep well, my pretty little old lady. ❤️

The journey of getting a tattoo often involves choosing symbols or images that represent the essence of the pet. In the case of Eevee, paw prints and a print of her face hold special meanings. Tattoos can serve as a constant reminder of the love shared and the joy they brought to our lives. As you consider commemorating your pet with a tattoo, it's essential to reflect on what symbols resonate with you. Many people incorporate elements such as names, dates, or specific images that remind them of their pet's unique personality. Researching talented and empathetic tattoo artists who understand the significance of pet memorials can further enhance the experience. Creating a piece that encapsulates the essence of your beloved friend not only serves as a tribute but also aids in the healing process during times of grief. Remember, while the loss is profound, the memories and love remain with us forever.

I am so so so sorry for your loss. I had to put my 21 year old cat down two months after my wedding. It was the hardest thing I ever did. It still pains me to this day. I wish I would have been able to get his paw prints and do a tattoo, but I love the idea of his facial markings like you have. 💙
