7.Resident Evil 2 (1998)

On September 29, 1998, two months after the events of Resident Evil, the first instalment, most of the citizens of the Raccoon City mountain community in western-central America were transformed into zombies by the T-virus, a biological weapon secretly developed by the Umbrella pharmaceutical company. Leon S. Kennedy, a Raccoon Police Department police officer, on the first day of duty, met Claire Redfield, a student who was searching for her brother Chris. After the separation, Leon and Claire each traveled to the Raccoon police station in person, they found that most of the RPD had been killed and Chris had left the city to investigate Umbrella headquarters in Europe, they parted ways to find survivors. Living and finding her way out of town while searching for an escape route, Claire meets a little girl named Sherri Birkin who is on the run from an unknown creature, and Leon meets Ada Wong who claims to be looking for her boyfriend John, who is an Umbrella researcher.

8.Counter-Strike (2000)

It was originally a modified game for Half-Life before the development team was hired by Valve in 2000, when the company acquired the copyright to Counter-Strike.

9. Grand Theft Auto III (2001)

A small criminal betrayed and shot by girlfriend Katalina (voiced by Cynthia Farrell) during a bank robbery outside Liberty City, Clod was arrested but escaped during his delivery to prison, when Colombian cartels members ambushed his vehicle to kidnap another prisoner, During the escape, Clod befriended Eight-Ball (guru), an explosives expert and fellow prisoner who gave shelter to Clod and introduced him to the Mafia Leone family to work.

10.Warcraft III (2002)

Warcraft III takes place in the hypothetical world of Azeroth years before the events of the game. The demon army known as the Burning Legion, which is determined to annihilate Azeroth, depraved a race called the Orcs and sent them through a portal to attack Azeroth. [20] These events had previously appeared in Orcs & Humans, Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal. [20] After years of fighting, the Orcs were defeated by a coalition of humans, dwarves, and elves known as Alliance Orcs who survived being herded to concentration camps, where they seemed to lose their desire for battle. [ 20] With no common enemy, a period of peace ensued, but the Alliance began to split.

11.Final Fantasy X (2001)

Final Fantasy X runs a story in a world called "Spiera" (Spira), consisting of a large land divided into three subcontinents, surrounded by small tropical islands. There is a climate that ranges from tropical at B-side and Kilica islands, warm at the Mehen region, to cold at Macalania and the Gagaset mountains. Spiera's population consists of many races.

12. Shadow of the Colossus (2005)

Presented through a simple narrative, [Shadow of the Colossus avoids revealing detailed information about the backstory and the relationships between the characters to the player, the game takes place in an imaginary world, in which a vast and uninhabited peninsula known as Forbidden Land is the main setting of events in the game; this area is separated from the outer realm by a distant mountain range to the north and the sea to the south and east, with ruins and remains of ancient structures, indicating that it was originally a settlement.
