My eye color<3

It's funny how often people ask me about my eye color. Some say they're blue, others swear they're green, and a few even suggest hazel! I’ve always found it fascinating how my eyes seem to shift, especially in different lighting. That's why I wanted to share a super close-up of my iris – to really capture all those subtle nuances. What I see most often is a blend of blue and green, creating this beautiful 'bluish-green' effect. Sometimes, there's even a hint of gold or light brown around the pupil that makes people think of hazel eyes. It’s not quite the distinct 'blue eyes with a brown ring' that some people have, but it definitely adds to the complexity. My dark pupil stands out, framed by what I've been told are quite long, dark eyelashes, which I think makes the blue-green pop even more. I've noticed that on a sunny day, my eyes lean more towards a vibrant green, almost like olive green eyes. But if I'm wearing blue, they can appear strikingly blue, truly showcasing the 'bluish-green' spectrum. It really makes you wonder about the magic of melanin and how light plays tricks on our perception! It's fascinating how many people I meet also have these unique mixed eye colors, like those with primarily green and blue eyes, or even hazel blue eyes that shift. I love seeing close-ups of other people's eyes, too – whether it's deep dark blue eyes, really light brown eyes, or even gray eyes. Everyone's iris is a unique masterpiece, and seeing the intricate patterns up close is always a treat. There's definitely an 'aesthetic' associated with different eye colors. I've seen so many gorgeous looks online for 'hazel eyes aesthetic' or 'light blue eyes aesthetic,' and it's inspiring. Even simple things like having blonde hair and blue eyes can create a distinct vibe. For my blue-green eyes, I feel like earthy tones or even soft purples really make them stand out.
