It was so much fun thinking about which Rangers would be essential for the lineup. Of course, the Red Ranger is a must – a true leader. But then you have the Black Ranger, the Blue Ranger, the Yellow Ranger, and the fierce Pink Ranger, all bringing their unique skills. I couldn't forget the Green Ranger with his Dragonzord power, and, of course, the legendary White Ranger, Tommy Oliver himself! Deciding which two to highlight as 'selected' was tough, but the Black and White Rangers felt like a powerful duo ready for action. Creating fan art like this isn't just about drawing; it's about pouring your passion into a concept you truly love. For me, blending the vibrant, heroic world of Power Rangers with the darker, intense universe of Mortal Kombat was a fascinating challenge. I spent a lot of time thinking about how their iconic suits and weapons would translate into the Mortal Kombat aesthetic, keeping the essence of both while adding my own artistic flair. The helmets, especially, were a key focus to ensure each Ranger was instantly recognizable. This piece really represents the joy of being a fan and letting your imagination run wild. What if Jason (Red Ranger) faced off against Scorpion? Or Kimberly (Pink Ranger) performed a fatality on Mileena? The possibilities are endless and that's what makes crossovers so exciting!
