My fave Action/thriller dramas/movies

These are not in no particular order!!!

I will give a little synopsis and a little after note of what I thought of the show/movie! And where you can watch it!

Also on each pic it will show my rating!! And keep notes that is my personal opinion, everyone will like these shows/movies differently.

V i g i l a n t e:

This show follows a police officer trainee who has an alter ego at night on the weekends. He goes and takes care of what the law of Korea doesn’t, make sure criminals pay and feel remorse for their crimes. A reporter starts following his tail as well as the police, all trying to figure out who this vigilante is and why he’s doing what he’s doing! But can he keep doing this all on his own or will he need a sidekick?

My opinions: LOVED THIS SHOW!! Nam Joo Hyuck became my man after I’ve seen him acting in this omg. I love the plot and how it has you on the edge of your seat. The fighting scenes are so satisfying ! I love the main character and his cause the other characters grew on me as well. Definitely should give it a watch.

E x t r a c u r r i c u l a r:

A high school student who has this image at school of being the perfect boring student, has secrets. He is determined to have a normal life as he turns into an adult but he knows this costs money, so he turns to a life of crime all through his secret phone he always has on hand. But, he can’t fool one student in his class, as she starts to peel each layer of his secrets.

My opinion: I became hooked onto this show at first, but then a few episodes in I got kinda bored. But one day I told myself to finish it and I’m glad I did. I truly feel empathy for the main character and how awkward he is, so relatable! Give it a try!

ON NETFLIX

H i g h S c h o o l R e t u r n o f A G a n g s t e r:

A 47 year old who’s #2 in his gang wants to attend college, and has the desire to study. One night he saves a high school student from jumping off a bridge, but that small encounter ended up them switching bodies. He learns the boy he saved was being bullied and so he seeks revenge through his body all while trying to study and get into college.

My opinion: I watched this show in like a full day! Man I loved this drama it was so good and it had its funny parts. I love the idea of a gangster seeking revenge on bullies like that’s a cool concept and the plot was more than just that. You have to watch it!!

ON HULU AND OR DISNEY+

W e a k H e r o:

Yeon Si Eun just wants to be left alone to his studies and make good grades. That’s all he cares about. But when a bully in school tries to make him one of his victims and fails, he’s determined to make his life hell by messing with his grades. Little does he know, that was a mistake. Si Eun may not be the fighter type but he uses objects around him to his advantage and can take blows. Trying to get through high school with many people coming after him he also makes friends who he would do anything for.

My opinion: LOOOOOOOVE! First season was sooooo good and the second season is even better imo! Fight scenes are crazy and so satisfying. Beware it can make you cry tho

ON NETFLIX or VIKI

S t u d y G r o u p:

Yun Ga Min’s grades suck! No matter what he does or how much he studies, his grades never improve. So he decided to go to a school where no one seems to care about anything other than fighting! He hopes to see a change in his grades, but when he’s determined to form a study group with the one whose second in all the school, a number of people challenge to a fight, orchestrated in an app made by the number one in the school, he shows off how much he can actually fight. He’s willing to take part in any fight if it means protecting those who want to study.

My opinion: this show is so funny!!! Omg! Each character have something unique about them and tends to make me laugh. The storyline is good and the fighting scenes are so cool! You HAVE to watch!

ON VIKI

O f f i c e r B l a c k B e l t:

Kim Seon Min only wants to do things that are exciting and serve a purpose. That’s why he excels in every fighting technique, plays games, and delivers chicken for his fathers chicken shop. Those all give him purpose. But when he helps a probation officer catch a criminal, he gets recruited to become a probation officer himself. When he’s assigned to watch a terrible criminal, but one day he escapes, he’s determined to get him off the streets!

My opinion:

Found this movie suddenly and was so glad I watched it! It makes me feel like I could do something like this but that’s my toxic trait. When his friends help him omg those scenes are so funny. Fighting scenes are great, wish they would last longer

ON NETFLIX

M i d n i g h t R u n n e r s:

Two best friends, who are also police trainees, wish to have a girlfriends who wait for them on the other side. One night they go out to a club to hopefully make that wish come true, but when it fails they take a walk in the street they witness a kidnapping. They spend that whole night following leads and trying to find the girl, all without the resources of the police.

My opinion: SOOOOOOOOO FUNNY! I love these two actors together! The plot was so good and I love how the characters were determined to help despite being shot down many times.

ON VIKI AND TUBI

M i d n i g h t:

A girl whose deaf accidentally witnesses a crime of a serial K*ller. The whole night it’s the prey of cat and mouse as the criminal goes to rapid lengths to eliminate her and her mother, she has to rely on things around her to keep herself safe and save the woman who was almost k*lled.

My opinions: I loved this movie and I loved how suspenseful it was. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Some scenes seemed unrealistic but overall I enjoyed this movie
