「シルバニアファミリーの日本発祥（発祥地）」で調べている方にいちばん刺さるのが、栃木県壬生町の道の駅みぶ。現地に行くと、まず「知ってた？シルバニア誕生の地」という看板と一緒に、ウサギ（やネコ）の大きなモニュメントがあって、到着早々テンション上がりました。写真を撮るだけでも“ここに来た感”が出るので、道の駅みぶの写真目的の人にもおすすめです。 私みたいに「シルバニア詳しくない勢」でも楽しめたのが、道の駅内の“シルバニア要素”が分かりやすいこと。家族連れはもちろん、大人の「シルバニア 昔好きだったな…」みたいな懐かしさにも刺さる空気があります。ちなみに犬連れで立ち寄る人も多い印象で、うちも一緒に記念撮影。検索で見かける“シルバニア 白い犬”みたいなワードに反応する方は、現地の撮影スポットを探すのも楽しいと思います。 食べ歩き系で気になっていたのは「シルバニア森のキッチン ちいさなスイーツショップ 道の駅みぶ店」。メニューは時期で変わることがあるので現地の掲示やショーケースを見るのが確実ですが、外観がフードスタンド形式で、ORDER／CASHIER／PICK UPの導線が分かりやすく、初めてでも買いやすかったです。スイーツやドリンク系が並んでいて、子どもがいると“選ぶ時間”もイベントになります。 そして甘いもの目当てなら、フルーツパーラー「Mib-TOWN」も外せません。私が食べたのは、凍らせた完熟いちご×濃厚ソフトのカップスイーツ（西日光紅白福苺）。正直カップ小さめに見えたのに、いちごがゴロゴロ入っていて満足度高めでした。暑い日やドライブ休憩にちょうどよく、写真映えもします。 道の駅みぶは敷地が広い分、工事やリニューアル中だと「全部見切れなかった…」となりがち。時間に余裕を持って、モニュメント撮影→ショップ散策→Mib-TOWNで休憩、みたいに回ると満喫できます。次に行くときは、リニューアル後の新施設も含めて“壬生×シルバニア”をもう一度じっくり味わいたいです。
