私もつくばを訪れた際、偶然『cox』というカフェに立ち寄りました。最初はコンクリート壁の堅牢な外観に驚きつつも、落ち着いた雰囲気の店内は隠れ家のようでワクワクしました。店内は大きなガラス窓から自然光が差し込み、シンプルながら洗練されたインテリアが居心地の良さを感じさせてくれます。 特に印象に残ったのが、クリームとミントが美しく飾られたいちごタルト。フォークとスプーン付きの皿で提供され、口に入れた瞬間に甘酸っぱいいちごの味とサクサクのタルト生地が絶妙に調和していて感動しました。コーヒーも丁寧に淹れられており、こちらも香り高くスイーツとの相性抜群でした。 また、カフェは月曜と火曜が定休日で駐車場も完備されているため、車でのアクセスも便利です。私は息子の試験待ち時間に一人で訪れましたが、慣れていない私でもリラックスできる空間でした。今度は家族や友人とも来て、ランチメニューも試してみたいです。隠れ家的な魅力を持つつくばの『cox』は何度でも訪れたくなる素敵なカフェです。
