「アールグレイ ドーナツ」を探してスタバに行く人って、紅茶の香りがしっかり感じられる甘すぎないドーナツが食べたいことが多い気がします。私も“紅茶系×スイーツ”が好きで、見かけるとついチェックする派です。 ただ、店舗や時期によってラインナップが入れ替わるので、店頭で「今日はアールグレイ ドーナツあるかな？」とショーケースを覗いて、無いとちょっと残念…ということも。そんな時の“代わりに満足できる選び方”として、香りが立つフレーバー系（季節限定含む）を選ぶのがおすすめです。 今回食べた桜抹茶ドーナツは、見た目がピンクのグレーズにグリーンの抹茶ソースで、まず春っぽさが満点。断面を見ると中に抹茶クリームが入っていて、ひと口目から抹茶のコクが広がります。桜は「ふわっと香る」タイプで、強烈に桜もち味！という感じではなかったので、桜味が得意じゃない人でも意外と食べやすいと思いました（私も桜が強すぎるのは苦手なので…）。 アールグレイみたいな紅茶系を求めている時のポイントは、香りがしっかりある飲み物と合わせて“口の中で完成させる”こと。桜抹茶ドーナツなら、ドリップコーヒーで甘さを切ってもいいし、より紅茶気分ならティー（ブラックティー系）と合わせると、香りの方向性が近くて満足感が上がりました。公式でおすすめされているスプリング シーズン ブレンドみたいに、季節のブレンドと合わせるのも楽しみ方のひとつ。 あと地味に大事なのが買い方。新作は人気が出ると売り切れることもあるので、確実に食べたい日は早めの時間に行くのが安心でした。テイクアウト予定の人は、最近は袋が有料の日もあるので、マイバッグを持って行くとスムーズ。 まとめると、「アールグレイ ドーナツ」が見当たらない日でも、香り系の季節ドーナツ（今回は桜抹茶）＋香りが立つドリンクで満足度は作れます。見た目も可愛いので、春のスタバスイーツ探しの候補にぜひ入れてみてください。
