「ガレージホテルって実際どうなん？」と思って泊まってみたら、想像以上に“ラクで楽しい”宿でした。車で宮島口に着いて、そのままガレージへ入庫→荷物を運ぶ距離がほぼゼロ。雨の日や子連れだと、この動線の良さがかなり助かります。ガレージ一体型ホテルは、移動のストレスが減るのが最大のメリットだと実感しました。 チェックインは無人運営のセルフ方式。玄関で暗証番号を入力して入室し、室内（ガレージ内）のタブレットで手続きする流れでした。夜に到着しても、人に会わずにサクッと入れるのは気楽。反対に、機械操作が不安な人は「到着前に案内メールをしっかり読む」「スマホの充電を切らさない」だけ意識しておくと安心です。 室内は和モダンで落ち着いた雰囲気。ホテルというより“自分たちの別荘”に近い感覚で過ごせました。アメニティも充実していて、特にReFaがあるのはテンション上がるポイント。家族旅行なら、お風呂上がりの身支度がスムーズで助かると思います。 屋上バルコニーでは電気式コンロが使えるので、火起こし不要でBBQができました。食材・調味料は持ち込みなので、近くのスーパーや道の駅で買い出ししてからチェックインすると段取りが良いです。夜風が気持ちいい反面、季節によっては冷えるので、羽織りものを1枚持って行くのがおすすめ。 「大人も子どもも楽しめるホテル」という意味では、ボードゲームが地味に強いです。観光から帰ってきて“もう一回どこか行く元気はない…”って時でも、部屋でワイワイできて満足度が上がりました。 宮島口ホテルを探している人で、駐車場付き・一棟貸し・人目を気にせず過ごしたい派なら、このガレージホテル（旅人 Stay 宮島）はかなり刺さると思います。直前予約を狙う場合は、週末や連休前は埋まりやすい印象なので、候補日が決まったら早めに空室チェックしておくと安心でした。
