私が行ったときは、工場直売所らしく「まず何を買えばいい？」が一番迷いました。結論、初めてならバラエティーセットが安心。定番のバターカステラに加えて、濃厚チョコや木苺、ほうじ茶など季節限定フレーバーも入っていて、家族や職場で分けると“当たり味”の話で盛り上がります。価格も1,000円前後で試しやすく、口コミで見た「口どけがいい」という印象はかなり近かったです。 味の特徴は、バターの香りが前に出るのに甘さが重たくないところ。ふわっとした食感で、飲み物がなくても食べやすいタイプでした。あと、原材料にこだわりがあって無添加・無着色、さらに蜂蜜不使用とのことで、小さい子がいる家への手土産候補にも入れやすいなと感じました（アレルゲンは乳成分・小麦・卵の表示があったので、そこは要チェック）。 直売所に行く前に知っておくと便利なのが「要冷蔵の商品がある」点。私も見ていて、バター系やチーズ系は冷蔵扱いのものがあったので、車で行く場合は保冷バッグがあると安心です。特に夏場は寄り道が増えると心配なので、最初から準備しておくのがおすすめ。 メニューは時期で入れ替わる印象だったので、迷ったら“季節限定フレーバーが入っているか”を基準に選ぶと満足度が高いです。写真を撮る人は、箱やラベルに「蘭楽堂(らんがくどう)」「バターカステラ」と入っていて、お土産感も出しやすいと思いました。 アクセス面では、JR可部駅から車で約10分。駐車場があるのも直売所としてありがたいポイントでした。「近くのカステラ屋」「近くカステラ」で探している人は、安佐北区周辺で用事がある日に合わせて寄ると行きやすいです。次は評判のバスクチーズケーキも一緒に買って、冷蔵スイーツ目的で再訪したいと思っています。
