「島根の道の駅、どこが新しいの？」「道の駅 邑南の里って実際どう？」って気になっている人向けに、行ってみて感じた“使い勝手”をもう少し補足します。 まず良かったのが、休憩のしやすさ。オープンしたばかりで全体的に清潔感があり、建物の天井が高めで開放的でした。ドライブ中って意外と疲れが溜まるけど、こういう空間だと気分がリセットできます。休憩所は24時間利用できるので、浜田方面へ向かう途中の立ち寄りにも、帰りのひと休みにも便利でした。 買い物は「旬のフルーツ目的」で寄るのが正解だと思います。私が買った豊水（梨）はみずみずしくて、車内でも香りがふわっとするレベル。ぶどうも種類があって、ちょっと珍しいものも見かけました。あと“島根のおいしいたまご”は、翌日の朝ごはんに回せるお土産として優秀。生ものが多いので、長距離の人は保冷バッグがあると安心です。 写真を撮るなら、外観だけじゃなく売り場の「秋の味覚コーナー」を狙うとそれっぽく撮れました。大きめの果物が並ぶタイミングだと、画面が一気に華やかになります（つい買いすぎ注意）。 アクセス面では、広島市内から1時間弱で着くのが強いポイント。高速で移動して“途中でサクッと寄れる道の駅”って意外と貴重で、ドライブの満足度が上がります。駐車場が無料なのもありがたいところ。 最後に、行く前のちょいコツ。営業時間は9:00〜18:00なので、果物狙いなら早めの時間が安心です。人気の品は午後に薄くなることもあるので、午前〜昼前に寄って、帰りにもう一回覗く…みたいな使い方もアリでした。島根県の道の駅巡りをする人も、まずは「邑南町 道の駅」の新スポットとして押さえておくと外れないと思います。
