私が年末にいちばん助かったのは、「オードブルどうする問題」が一気に解決したこと。家族や友達と集まる時って、手作りもしたいけど、当日はバタバタして結局時間が足りなくなりがち。福屋のデパ地下は年末限定っぽい豪華オードブルが並んでいて、見ているだけでテンションが上がりました。 オードブルを選ぶ時は、まず人数と“主役”を決めるのがコツだと思います。例えば「海鮮を主役」にすると、お寿司セット＋海老やカニなどのSeaFood系で満足感が出やすいです。逆にお酒メインの集まりなら、揚げ物やロースト系が入ったオードブルに、つまめるお菓子セットを足すと失敗しにくい印象。私は「新鮮そうなエビが入ってるか」をついチェックしちゃいます。 あと、お正月っぽさを出すなら、かまぼこは本当に便利。普段見ない種類が多くて、“こんなにあるの？”って驚きました。紅白や柄入りを少し入れるだけで、お皿が一気にお正月仕様になるので、手間をかけずに華やかにしたい人におすすめです。 甘いもの担当には、ケーキや手土産用のお菓子セットも強い味方。食後に少しつまめるものがあると満足度が上がるし、子どもがいる集まりだと特に喜ばれます。私は当日用と翌日用で“2種類買い”して、年末のごほうび感を出しました。 買い物をスムーズにするために、私は「朝〜昼の早めの時間に行く」「買うものリストをメモしておく」を意識しました。駅からすぐで寄りやすい分、時間帯によっては混みやすいので、並ばず動けるタイミングを狙うとラクです。直営駐車場のサービス（条件あり）もあるので、まとめ買いする人は事前に確認しておくと安心。 年末は“豪華なものを少しずつ”が一番満足度高い気がします。オードブル・お寿司・海鮮・かまぼこ・ケーキまで一回で揃うので、広島市内で年末準備を短時間で済ませたい人は、デパ地下を候補に入れてみてください。
